Respect.
Florida has some of the most incredible waterways in our country. Unfortunately, man has not always been kind to this ecosystem. We encourage safe, responsible and respectful use of of these precious surroundings.
Lakes.
The property overlooks Lake Apopka, the 4th largest lake in all of Florida. The treasures of this lake were almost lost due to farming contaminants and destructive weather. Thanks to the Friends of Lake Apopka, an incredible restoration has been ongoing for decades. You will be able to enjoy the sites of magnificent wildlife that have returned as well as some of the most amazing sunsets around. This is a shallow lake so it’s not ideal for boating but many enjoy our local pier for fishing (feel free to use our gear).
Boating.
Lake Minneola in Clermont is one of our favorite chains of lakes to explore. It’s perfect for easy navigation, swimming, fishing and skiing. We also love the boat rentals that are available at the historic Lake Minneola Inn. Make sure you stop and enjoy the Tiki Bar and Grill after a day on the lake.
Kayaking
We can’t choose just one spot to explore by kayak. With lakes, springs, manatees and bioluminescence to name a few of the ecotours that can be booked, we simply choose the longest running Orlando kayak tour company’s expertise.
